To get the very best out of yuor new fan heater it is advisable to read these instructions before using it. [. . . ] The appliance is set to maintain a temperature of about 5°C in the room with minimum energy consumption. Models with switch - Heating at low power: press the "-" switch (the red zone is visible on the switch). - Heating at high power: press both switches (the red zone is visible on the switches). You should always unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use. MAINTENANCE - Always remove the plug out of its socket before cleaning the heater. WARNINGS - Do not use the heater in the immediate surrondings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. - Do not positon the heater in close proximity to curtains or other combustible materials. - The heater must be positioned at least 50 cm from furniture or other objects. - The use of extension leads is not reccomended, however if it is necessary then follow carefully the extension lead's instructions, and most importantly ensure that the extension lead is correctly rated in accordance with the heater being used and NEVER overloaded. - When the appliance is used in portable version, do not place it up against walls, furniture, curtains, etc. - The appliance must be installed so that the switches and other controls can not be reached by persons using the bath tub or the shower. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
